ESRD PPS Special Open Door Forum On October 15, 2009, CMS hosted an End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) Special Open Door Forum (ODF). During the ODF, CMS provided an overview of the ESRD PPS proposed rule that was published in the Federal Register on September 29, 2009. ESRD PPS Town Hall Meeting On October 23, 2009, CMS hosted an End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) Town Hall Meeting. This meeting allowed the public to present their perspective on the ESRD PPS proposed rule that was published in the Federal Register on September 29, 2009.
