CD-ROM Version Of ICD-9-CM
Due to the Partial Code Freeze currently in effect, only one new ICD-9-CM procedure code was created effective October 1, 2012 (FY 2013). As a result, it was felt that a new CD ROM was not necessary to soley identify this one new code.
We refer the public to the FY 2013 ICD-9-CM procedure addenda to review the new procedure code. The addenda is located on the web page found in the Related Links section below under "Updates and Revisions to ICD-9-CM Procedure Codes (Addendum)".
The 2011 (FY 2012)CD ROM is still available through the GPO website as explained below.
CD-ROM
This product contains the complete official version of the International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (Volumes 1, 2, 3, and Guidelines), compiled by the National Center for Health Statistics and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The ICD-9-CM 2011 CD-ROM contains all changes effective October 1, 2011. This CD-ROM supersedes all previous issues.
System Requirements
The minimum requirements are an IBM-compatible computer running under Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, or XP:
- Windows - 80486 processor, 16 Mb of RAM, VGA or SVGA monitor, and 10 Mb of hard disk space
