- PAC-PRD developed a uniform assessment instrument for acute hospitals and four PAC settings. Analysis topics are payment recommendations, discharge patterns, and patient outcomes. In 2007 it developed data collection tools and recruit participants. Recruitment was based on market analyses, the need for a representative sample, and provider volunteers. Data collection began in 2008. The demonstration was scheduled to conclude three years after the start of data collection.
