MEDICARE ADMINISTRATIVE CONTRACTOR (MAC) IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE
Jurisdiction H
On November 8, 2011, CMS awarded the Jurisdiction H (JH) MAC contract to Highmark Medicare Services (HMS). The JH MAC contract covers Medicare Part A and Part B claims processing services in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. As of January 2012, Highmark Medicare Services has assumed a new corporate name of Novitas Solutions, Inc. (Novitas). As the incoming MAC, Novitas will start processing the Medicare claims workloads for JH Medicare providers according to the following schedule:
