1. FY 2014 Hospital Wage Index Development Time Table

Note: CMS has made the following changes to the timetable since its initial release:

• CMS extended the deadline for all hospitals to submit revisions to their wage data and occupational mix data to December 10, 2012 since numerous providers wage index data were omitted from the October PUF.
• Hospitals affected by Superstorm Sandy should contact their Medicare contractor if they are having trouble meeting the December 10, 2012 deadline.
• CMS revised the March 3, 2013 deadline to Monday March 4, 2013 since the original deadline of March 3, 2013 was on a Sunday.

2. FY 2014 October Preliminary and Supplemental PUF:

Contains the October preliminary and supplemental FY 2010 cost report S-3 Parts II and III wage data for providers that filed on the CMS Form 2552-96 and CMS Form 2552-10 cost reports, and the CY 2010 occupational mix data.

Note: In response to the multiple inquiries we received that several providers’ data were missing from the original release of the October Preliminary PUF, we have updated the excel file to the best of our ability with supplemental data. We have added two additional tabs with providers’ data that were not previously included in the original release of the October Preliminary PUF, one for providers that filed on the CMS Form 2552-96 cost report and another for those that filed on the CMS Form 2552-10 cost reports. However, we were still unable to include the data of some providers due to technical difficulties with the CMS Form 2552-10 cost reports.
