Due to the absence of submitted questions and comments related to the IRF PAI Technical Submission Specifications, the CMS IRF Vendor Call scheduled for July 12, 2012 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. (ET) has been cancelled. Vendors and software developers should submit technical questions to IRFTECHIssues@cms.hhs.gov.

- CMS intends to provide training specific to IRF-PAI data submission and data submission reports, in addition to jIRVEN user tool-related training, in the late summer, 2012. Additional information related to these trainings will be forthcoming on the Software web page.

- Report to Congress: Analysis of the Classification Criteria for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs) is available for download from the Research web page. This report was submitted to Congress in response to the requirements of section 115(c) of the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA) of 2007, Public Law 110—173.
- IRF PPS Classification Criteria--Fiscal Intermediaries and Medicare Administrative Contractors (FI/MAC) are reminded to submit compliance review reports to CMS by the 15th day of each month. The FI/MAC will e-mail the reports to: CMSComplianceData@cms.hhs.gov and the CMS Regional Office which oversees the geographic area in which the facility is located, as well as the FI/MAC's Consortium Contractor Management Officer. Refer to the IRF Classification Criteria web page for additional information.
