- Beginning on March 28, 2001 an additional MDS quality indicator report became available to facilities and States. This report, the Monthly Quality Indicator Comparison Report, is generated at the end of each month for each facility within a state that reports MDS data. Survey and Certification Policy Letter 01-17 announced the availability of the reports and presented the guidelines for their release by the States. This letter (Survey and Certification Policy Letter 01-24) has been issued to clarify and amend policies for the release of the reports and should replace the earlier letter.
