- Additional clarification and guidance is given for certifying laboratories under the various regulatory multiple sites exceptions. There are scenarios with guidance for all areas of the three regulatory exceptions for each type of certificate. State laws must be considered and when certificates that meet a multi-site exception cross State/Regional lines, the corresponding regional offices must coordinate oversight.
