ICFMR Annual Focus

Classroom Training: 2.5 DAYS

Who Should Attend: 20 Regional Office Developmental Disablities (DD) Specialists/Identified alternates, approximately 10 federal contract surveyors, Central Office (CO) staff, Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded (ICFs/MR) consultants.

Course Description: This program is geared to assisting Regional Office DD Specialists and federal contract surveyors to identify program policies, guidelines and protocols required to consistently implement the Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded (ICFs/MR) regulations; to analyze current issues in the field that may be impacting the delivery of services to individuals living in ICF/MR.

Course Objective: Training specific to the needs of Regioanl Office DD Specialist done on a annual bases.
