Medicare Covers America Cable Show

My Health. My Medicare. (formerly Medicare Covers America) is a health information cable television series produced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS), the Federal agency that runs Medicare. Each cable show provides up-to-date information about Medicare issues and resources to help people with Medicare stay healthy, save money and help others.

The My Health. My Medicare. cable series features a different cover story every other month. The series is aired by participating cable stations across the country. The goal of My Health. My Medicare. is to help individuals get the most out of their Medicare!

Medicare Administrator, Dr. Mark McClellan and the U.S. Surgeon General, Vice Admiral Richard Carmona discuss issues that matter to anyone trying to make the most of their Medicare, including: Generic Drugs, Prevention and bridging the coverage gap in many Medicare Drug Plans. Viewers will hear HHS Secretary, Mike Leavitt thank America for helping 38 million people with Medicare get good prescription drug coverage, and a Medicare expert will take you on a quick tour of Medicare's newest on-line help: My.Medicare.gov.
