*1. This field must contain the version number for the data specifications used for submission. The allowable values are "01.60" (the current version), "01.50", "01.40", "01.30", "01.20", "01.10", and "1.04 " (left justified, blank filled).

*2. If M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is less than or equal to "20000831" (08/31/2000), then VERSION_CD2 must equal "1.04 " (left justified, blank filled).

*3. If M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20001001" (10/01/2000) and less than or equal to "20021215" (12/15/2002), then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.10" or "01.20".

*4. If M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20000901" (09/01/2000) and is less than or equal to "20000930" (09/30/2000), then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.10" or "1.04 " (left justified, blank filled). The version of the State System edit engine which is used to validate the record submitted will depend upon the value of VERSION_CD2.

*5. If M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20021216" (12/16/2002) and is less than or equal to "20030930" (09/30/2003), then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.10", "01.20", or "01.30".

*6. If M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20031001" (10/01/2003) and is less than or equal to "20060620" (06/20/2006), then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.40".

*7. If M0100_ASSMT_REASON=04 or 05 and M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20060621" (06/21/2006) and less than or equal to "20071226" (12/26/2007) then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.40" or "01.50".

*8. If M0100_ASSMT_REASON=01, 03, 06, 07, 08, or 09 and M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20060621" (06/21/2006) and less than or equal to "20071231" (12/31/2007) then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.40" or "01.50".

*9. If M0100_ASSMT_REASON=04 or 05 and M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20071227" (12/27/2007) then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.60").

*10. If M0100_ASSMT_REASON= 01, 03, 06, 07, 08, or 09 and M0090_INFO_COMPLETED_DT is greater than or equal to "20080101" (01/01/2008) then VERSION_CD2 must equal "01.60").
