Long Term Care

LONG TERM SERVICES AND SUPPORTS (LTSS) CONFERENCE

Long term services and supports are provided on many levels - from family oriented in-the-home assistance to facility-based assistance. On March 21-23, 2012, the Administration on Aging (AoA), Indian Health Service (IHS), and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) held an American Indian and Alaska Native Long Term Services and Supports Conference in Denver, Colorado.   The conference focused on four concentration track areas:

  • Home- and Community-based Services (HCBS)
  • Facility-based Services
  • Hospice/Palliative Care
  • Care Transitions

The Administration on Aging (AoA), Indian Health Service (IHS), and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) are committed to provide a series of webinars following the March 2012 conference to share knowledge and promising practices in the field.
