CMS to Upgrade the PQRI Portal (06-09-10) The PQRI Portal will be unavailable from Friday, June 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET through Sunday, June 20 at 5:00 p.m. ET due to scheduled maintenance. The PQRI Portal is used to check for and access available TIN-level PQRI and eRx Feedback Reports. It is also used for submission of PQRI/eRx quality data to CMS via alternative reporting mechanisms (EHR, registry, or group practice reporting). UPDATED! June 1, 2010, Special Open Door Forum (05-24-10) The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will co-host a Special Open Door Forum on the 2010 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) Program with the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Updated 2010 PQRI Measure Specifications Documents Posted (12-23-09) CMS has identified the need for revision to the following 2010 PQRI measure specifications documents that are posted. • 2010 PQRI Single Source Code Master – Updated 12-17-09 – CPT 92567 was added to the Denominator Coding for Measure #94. • 2010 PQRI Measures Specifications Manual for Claims and Registry Reporting of Individual Measures and Release Notes – Updated 12-21-09 – The 2010 PQRI Measure Specifications Manual for Claims and Registry Reporting of Individual Measures was updated for:
(1) Measure #193: Additional information was added to the note for Numerator Coding option CPT II 4256F; and
(2) Measure #94: CPT 92567 was added to the Denominator Coding. The corresponding Release Notes were updated in several areas:
(1) Two temporary measure numbers have been replaced with final measure numbers;
(2) Measure #21 and Measure #22: A CPT code that was listed as being deleted from the Denominator Coding was revised to reflect the correct code; and
(3) Measure #48: CPT codes listed as being added and deleted from the Denominator Coding have been updated to reflect they were only added to the measure. • 2010 PQRI Measures Groups Specifications Manual and Release Notes – Updated 12-18-09 – The 2010 PQRI Measures Groups Specifications Manual and Release Notes were updated to reflect a change to the denial remark code note for several Measures Groups. Incorrect G-codes identified within the notes have now been replaced with the correct G-codes specific to each Measures Group. The updated versions of this document have been reposted on the "Measures Codes" link at left. Qualified Registries for 2010 PQRI Reporting (12-10-09) A list of registries that have become "qualified" to submit quality data to CMS on behalf of their eligible professionals for 2010 PQRI reporting is now available by clicking on the "Alternative Reporting Mechanisms" link at left. Requirements for EHR Vendors to Participate in the 2011 PQRI EHR Program (12-10-09) CMS is now accepting self-nomination letters from EHR vendors who wish to qualify to participate in the 2011 PQRI EHR program. To view the 2011 PQRI EHR vendor qualification process and requirements for the 2011 PQRI EHR Testing Process click on the "Alternative Reporting Mechanisms" link at left. The deadline for EHR vendors to submit a self-nomination letter requesting inclusion in the 2011 PQRI Testing Process in 2010 is January 31, 2010. New Page Added to PQRI Website – 2009 PQRI Program (12-10-09) We have created a new page on the PQRI website.
