Overview

The CMS FY 2012 budget request was submitted to Congress on February 14, 2011. This Congressional Justification of the budget presents the resource requests for programs, focuses on key performance measures, and summarizes program results.

The CMS FY 2012 Annual Performance Plan and FY 2010 Annual Performance Report required under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) are integrated into the FY 2012 CMS Congressional Justification of the budget. Additionally, the CMS Congressional Justification is supplemented by the FY 2012 CMS Online Performance Appendix, which provides performance information and more detailed information for all CMS measures.

Previous performance and budget documents are located on the "Prior Years' Performance & Budget Submissions" page (a link is provided to the left).
