Provider Education Calls

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is hosting PERM Provider Education Conference Call/ Webinars to provide an opportunity for the providers of the Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) communities in the Cycle 2 (FY2013) States to learn about PERM and their responsibilities during the PERM process. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and provide feedback to CMS and your state representatives.

Please refer to the download below for the detailed invitation that provides the access numbers and links to the sessions. The initial presentation will occur on May 21, 2013, and CMS will repeat the presentations on the following dates; June 5, 2013, June 18, 2013, and July 2, 2013 at 3:00-4:00 PM EST. The question and answer portion will be live for each session. 

Webinar/Listening Session participants will learn from PERM related presentations such as:

• An overview of the PERM Program 
• The PERM process and provider responsibilities during a PERM review 
• Frequent Mistakes and Best Practices 
• The Electronic Submission of Medical Documentation (esMD) 

There will be time available for Q&A’s at the end of the presentations however; CMS encourages all participants to submit questions in advance to our designated PERM Provider email address at; PERMProviders@cms.hhs.gov or, you may also contact your State PERM Representatives with any questions and for information about education and training in your state.
