Information for Authors

MMRR will consider for publication two types of manuscripts: research articles and data briefs.

Research Articles

Research articles report original health care research, program evaluations, and analyses of major policy issues. As a definitive source for peer-reviewed research on these programs, MMRR will not exclude from consideration manuscripts where the study results are presented in an existing government-funded or foundation-funded research deliverable.  Download the “Guide for Authors” PDF document (link below) for detailed guidelines on how to submit your research article.

Data Briefs

Data Briefs are statistical reports based on Medicare, Medicaid, or Children’s Health Insurance program data that provide information about current topics in a straightforward format. Each brief takes a complex data subject and summarizes it in text and graphics that provide readers with easily comprehensible information in a compact publication. Download the “Guide for Data Brief Authors” PDF document (link below) for detailed guidelines on how to submit your data brief.
