Housing Assistance

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) contributes considerable resources to homeless assistance programs, nearly half of which are used for support services. HUD encourages case managers and outreach workers to use FirstStep to help clients who are homeless access supportive services through mainstream programs.
