Description
This demonstration provides family planning services to uninsured postpartum women ages 18 to 55 who lose Medicaid eligibility 60 days after the birth of their child for a maximum of one year after their Medicaid eligibility expires.

On March 26, 2010, the State requested a 3-year extension of the Demonstration; the request is pending. The Demonstration was originally scheduled to expire on September 30, 2010, and is currently operating under a temporary extension through January 31, 2011. As of April 30, 2010, approximately 63,000 individuals were enrolled in the Demonstration.
