Brady Brookes is the Deputy Administrator and Deputy Chief of Staff at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).  CMS provides healthcare to over 130 million Americans every year, with a $1 trillion dollar budget that makes up 26% of the entire federal budget, with almost 6,000 employees supporting that mission. She manages the day-to-day operations of the agency dealing with all aspects of CMS as well as providing strategic counsel to the Administrator.

A native of Michigan, Brady attended the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science. In 2007, Brady moved to Indiana where she began her career at the Indiana Department of Child Services as Legislative Director.

In 2014, Brady was hired by then-Governor Pence as his Deputy Legislative Director. In 2015, Brady was promoted to the Legislative Director, a position in which she also served as a Senior Advisor to the Governor. She was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff to Administrator Seema Verma in March of 2017. In August of 2018, she was also appointed Deputy Administrator.
