Program Integrity: Anticonvulsant Education Materials

Anticonvulsants, also known as antiepileptics, can be defined as any drug that depresses the central nervous system to prevent, stop, or reduce the severity of epileptic or other convulsive seizures.

The adult and pediatric dosing charts and fact sheets are intended to be utilized as reference materials in an education effort to promote prescribing behaviors within the Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) approved dosage guidelines.
