Adding Services
Requests for adding services to the list of Medicare telehealth services may be submitted on an ongoing basis. Requests must be submitted and received no later than December 31 of each calendar year to be considered for the following year's proposed rule (i.e. requests must be received by December 31, 2008, to be considered during the 2009 rulemaking cycle that establishes physician fee schedule rates for 2010).

Electronic requests to add or delete services
As an alternative to regular mail, requests may be submitted electronically to the Telehealth Requests resource mailbox. These requests also must be received by December 31 to be considered during the following calendar year's physician fee schedule rulemaking cycle (i.e. requests must be received by December 31, 2008 to be considered during the 2009 rulemaking cycle that establishes physician fee schedule rates for 2010). Please note that if you choose to send any attachments:
- File attachments must be smaller than 5 MB.
- We recommend using portable document format .
