  • Show you problems that lead to claim rejections
  • Guide you on how to correct a rejected claim

Clearinghouses can’t tell you which ICD-10 codes to use unless they offer coding services. Because ICD-10-CM codes are specific, you need medical knowledge and familiarity with the specific clinical event to select the correct code.
