The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), based in Baltimore, Maryland. CMS oversees the Medicare Program.
The SSA and RRB are examples of other agencies involved with the Medicare Program.
