Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP)

On October 20, 2011, CMS issued a final rule under the Affordable Care Act to establish the Medicare Shared Savings Program (Shared Savings Program). This initiative will help providers participate in Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) to improve quality of care for Medicare patients. During this National Provider Call on the Shared Savings Program application process, CMS subject matter experts are available to answer questions about the Shared Savings Program and application process for the January 1, 2014 start date
