This fact sheet gives you aggregate data and visuals from Medicare Fee-for-Service claims data, Medicare Advantage encounter data, and Medicare enrollment information. COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are based on ICD-10 diagnosis codes:
- B97.29 from 1/1-3/31/20
- U07.1 starting 4/1/20
All data in this fact sheet are preliminary and will continue to change as we process more claims and encounters for the reporting period.
