Instructions for Reading the Section 4122 Awards Spreadsheet:
This spreadsheet contains the results of section 4122 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA), 2023.  These FTE resident cap slots are effective July 1, 2026. 
There are three tabs in this spreadsheet.  The second tab of this spreadsheet, labeled "Section 4122 Awardees", lists the hospitals that were awarded FTE resident cap slots under section  4122.  The third tab of this spreadsheet, labeled "Remaining Applicants", lists the hospitals that were not awarded FTE resident cap slots under section 4122.
On the "Section 4122 Awardees" tab of this spreadsheet, you will find the following information:
* Column A contains the hospital's CMS Certification Number (CCN). 
* Column B contains the hospital's name.
* Column C contains the total direct graduate medical education (DGME) slots awarded to the hospital. 
* Column D contains the total indirect medical education (IME) slots awarded to the hospital. 
* Column E contains the residency program for which the slots have been awarded.
* Column F contains the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation number associated with the residency program.
* Column G contains the Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) score associated with the hospital's application.
* Column H contains the hospital's state.
* Column I contains the hospital's Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC).
On the "Remaining Applicants" tab of this spreadsheet, you will find the following information:
* Column A contains the hospital's CMS Certification Number (CCN). 
* Column B contains the hospital's name.
* Column C contains the hospital's state.
