The official compendia listings of medications and transference of information must be maintained with the absolute highest integrity and without bias to purpose. Both ASCO and previously NCCN have both been eager to suggest that this task should be awarded to them. CMS should view this in a very cautious manner. NCCN received manufactures support for the development, listing and recommendations for drug use. ASCO on the other hand is presented with sponsorships from internal oncology
