View Public Comments for Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy (Section C, Topical Oxygen) (CAG-00060R)

Cockrell, Susan
[PHI Redacted] had an open, complicated leg wound last month. He had 6 surgeries in 13 days to preserve the leg and we were told he would need a skin graft to close the wound. He had 5 days of HBOT for 1 hour and 50 minutes before his last surgery. They were miraculously able to close the wound - without a skin graft. We believe HBOT made the difference! He has had 5 more treatments and the wound is healing well without other complications. (We have before and after pictures.)
