I have extensive experience using the Trans Cu device on patients in all care settings. It has been extremely successful in closing chronic wounds when no other therapies could help! It closed a four inch by seven inch hole in the foot of a type 1 diabetic. She was a diabetic for 39 years and very slow to heal. We used the Trans Cu O2 for 12 days and achieved full closure! She was elated and the clinicians were amazed.

I have also seen it close tunnels in an abdominal wound of a patient with stage 3 cancer!

I firmly believe it is a therapy every wound or burn patient in all care settings would benefit from! Having a reimbursable code would allow clinicians the opportunity to heal their patients quicker while offsetting some of the costs. I personally would use it every chance I could !
