Episode Overview	Percutaneous coronary intervention: This episode includes clinically related service for patients with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) indicated in an outpatient hospital facility or with PCI indicated as the primary reason for an inpatient hospital facility admission.  This episode includes patients with: 1) acute coronary syndrome (ACS) as the primary diagnosis on the inpatient hospitalization; or 2) any other diagnosis as the primary diagnosis on the inpatient hospitalization.

PCI without ACS: This episode includes clinically related service for patients with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) indicated in an outpatient hospital facility or with PCI indicated as the primary reason for an inpatient hospital facility admission with a primary diagnosis other than acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
