Parking

The CMS complex has approximately 3,100 parking spaces which provides sufficient parking for all.  Parking lots are fairly level, with handicap curb cuts in each lot.  Spaces are designated for permitted parking for Agency Commuter programs, including car pool, and personal electric vehicle.  There are numbered reserved parking spaces and government vehicle parking spaces that are reserved 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and display a CMS permit while occupied.

Visitors to the CMS complex that do not have a government issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentials are required to enter the complex at the main entrance on Security Boulevard. They will be issued a permit upon clearance of their vehicle and be directed to Lot C, the recommended parking area for visitors, on the complex. The permit must be placed on the dashboard on the driver's side and be always visible while parked on the CMS grounds. Visitors who require accessible parking on the CMS lot are required to show their handicap placard issued that matches their identification at the guard station;  Designated handicapped spaces on the CMS lot are available on a first-come, first served basis and both the placard and CMS-issued permit must be displayed when parked in these spaces.

Visitors who experience problems with their car must contact a uniformed Security guard, or call the Security Control Center on (410) 786-2929 for assistance.  Visitors' vehicles are not allowed to be parked overnight on CMS's campus.
