Medicare Part B Drug Average Sales Price

Medicare pays for separately payable Medicare Part B-covered drugs and biological products using several payment methodologies. Most separately payable drugs and biological products have a payment limit of the Average Sales Price (ASP) plus 6 percent. CMS collects quarterly ASP data from manufacturers through the ASP Data Collection System to calculate the payment limits for drugs and biological products.
