Medicare HETS UI Internet Eligibility Users:
CMS reminds impacted organizations that today, February 14, 2014 is the sunset date for the HETS UI Internet Eligibility system. CMS will begin removing functional access to the HETS UI system at approximately 10:00 PM ET tonight. Once this is complete, you will no longer be able to access Medicare eligibility information via the HETS UI system. If you currently use IACS to access multiple CMS systems then your IACS profile will be modified to remove the HETS UI related role. If HETS UI is the only CMS system that you access, your IACS profile (including the User ID and password) will be completely archived
If your organization has not yet migrated to another Medicare eligibility solution, you will need to do so immediately. Please contact your local MAC to discuss obtaining access to a similar web-based Medicare eligibility solution.
