2025 Internet Access and Use Among Medicare Beneficiaries Preliminary Estimates PUF

Provides an overview of Medicare beneficiaries’ access to the internet, frequency of internet use, and type of internet use. The dataset aggregates information by demographics, presence of chronic conditions, and health status.

Among Medicare beneficiaries living in the community in 2025:

• 92 percent had access to the internet.
• 56 percent used the internet daily, and 15 percent used the internet a few times a year or less.
• About 50 percent used the internet to communicate with a health care provider.
