Among Medicare beneficiaries living in the community in 2025:
- 54 percent knew how to file a complaint or appeal with Medicare.
- Beneficiaries in good to excellent health were more likely to know how to file a complaint or appeal with Medicare (55 percent) compared with beneficiaries in fair to poor health (49 percent).
