How they met the pledge

b.well Connected Health operates a CMS Aligned Network live in production, connecting patients, providers, and health plans across the ecosystem to share clinical and claims data.

b.well supports all required use cases: Patient Access, Provider Access, and Payer Access. When consumers use the network, they begin by going through identity verification through to IAL2 and then starting a Smart Connect network search. The patient connects their records without ever touching portal credentials.

b.well also supports Payer and Provider exchange, leveraging FHIR standards, to facilitate use cases including treatment, payment, and health care operations.

Across every connection, the patient stays in control: every exchange is logged for a full audit trail, and the patient can view access history, manage data sharing, and disconnect any connection at any time.

This fulfills the CMS Aligned Network pledge by turning the CMS Interoperability Framework's core requirements, frictionless IAL2 identity, portal-free record location and query response, and end-to-end auditability, into a real, working experience for real consumers, today, in production.
