Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS will perform testing on the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility application beginning at 9:00 AM ET on Saturday, July 18, 2009. The HETS 270/271 application will be available during testing; however, submitters may notice some degradation in system performance during the testing window. Submitters may experience higher than normal average response times or some AAA03=42 'System Unavailable' time out responses from the system. Please remember that the HETS 270/271 system may wait up to 60 seconds before returning a AAA03=42 time out response. If your system is generating timeouts prior to 60 seconds, please understand that you may not be waiting long enough to receive an answer.
