Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces an update to a previously announced outage, as well as two new upcoming outages to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Updated information regarding all three outages is detailed below in chronological order.
CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Data center maintenance will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, May 18, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
CMS also announces a modification to the previously announced Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility outage for Sunday, May 19, 2019. This outage for data center maintenance will now begin at 12:00 AM (Midnight) on Sunday morning, May 19, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 8:00 AM ET on Sunday, May 19, 2019.
Finally, CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Data center maintenance will begin at 8:30 PM ET on Friday, May 24, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:30 PM ET on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
