Description
This study will assess the impact of the changes in payments for Part B covered drugs on beneficiaries, providers, and the distribution and delivery system for the drugs. The study will cover a broad array of drugs and physician specialties and analyze the effects of the payment reforms from 2004-2007. While the focus will be on the payment reform for drugs currently covered under Part B, the study will need to consider other provisions of the MMA that might affect the utilization of these drugs.
