Addressing & Improving Behavioral Health
CMS is embarking on a multi-faceted approach to increase access to equitable and high-quality behavioral health services and improve outcomes for people covered by Medicare, Medicaid (including the Children’s Health Insurance Program) and private health insurance.
CMS is currently revising the CMS Behavioral Health strategy. CMS remains committed to optimizing the health outcomes and well-being of those who are living with, or at risk of developing, behavioral health conditions.
