The Health Informatics and Interoperability Group (HIIG) supports the development of technical standards and implementation guides (IGs) with standards development organizations, federal partners, and participating industry stakeholders. Federal participation in standards development organization work group meetings and events also helps promote adoption of Health Level 7® (HL7®) Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources® (FHIR®) by stakeholders.
