Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP) Data Sharing

Overview

In 2014, we established a process for integrated MMPs participating in the Financial Alignment Initiative (FAI) to request the most recent years' worth of Medicare Parts A and B claims data and Part D Prescription Drug Event (PDE) data for new plan enrollees. CMS provides these data to support MMPs to fulfill contract requirements to assess individual needs of new enrollees.
