ICD-10 MS-DRG Conversion Project

This section provides information on the project for using the General Equivalence Mappings (GEMs) to convert the MS-DRGs to ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS. Information is also provided on undertaking similar conversion projects.

The Final ICD-10 MS-DRG v33 logic was implemented on October 1, 2015. For information on the ICD-10 MS-DRG and MCE v33 including ordering the software, see the FY 2016 Acute Inpatient PPS page under Related Links.
