August 6, 2024 –Section 111 Coordination of Benefits Secure Website (COBSW) System Modernization

In CMS’s ongoing commitment to provide excellent service, we are excited to announce a S111 COBSW system upgrade scheduled for September 7, 2024. The upgrade aims to enhance the end user experience across the application. While the functionality of the system won’t be changing, the layout and flow will be all new. An updated user guide and help pages will be available to assist users in navigating the changes. Should you experience any issues or have additional questions please contact your EDI Representative. 

July 29, 2024- New Non-Group Health Plan (NGHP) Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Beneficiary Reference Guide is Now Available

A new reference guide intended to provide Medicare beneficiaries with a reference manual to help them navigate the Medicare conditional payment recovery process is now available in the Download section of the Medicare’s Recovery Process page.
