The Medicare 270/271 Eligibility system is currently available but with a limited number of sockets. The system is accepting a limited number of new eligibility requests; some requests to open a socket to connect to the application are being rejected. Submitters may perceive this situation as high response times or internal errors. This issue has been escalated to CMS IT for review and resolution.
