Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces an upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. The outage will begin at 9:00 PM ET on Sunday, March 6, 2016. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 2:00 AM ET on Monday, March 7, 2016. Please note that there is a normal Monday morning 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM ET maintenance period for HETS; this outage will replace that normal maintenance window.
This outage is in addition to the previously announced outage for March 4-6, 2016 that was announced below.
