Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS reminds Submitters of two upcoming outages to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system.
Outage #1. CMS data center maintenance will begin at 8:30 PM ET on Friday, August 30, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:30 PM ET on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
Outage #2. CMS data center maintenance will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Sunday, September 1, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Sunday, September 1, 2019.
Additionally, CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. The HETS R2019Q300 Release is scheduled to be installed beginning at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, September 14, 2019. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 1:00 PM ET on Saturday, September 14, 2019. HETS Submitters should review the documents linked below to prepare for this upcoming HETS quarterly release.
