On December 21, 2024, Section 3206 of the American Relief Act, 2025 extended the work GPCI floor through April 1, 2025. The CY 2025 GAFs have been revised to reflect the extension of the work GPCI floor through April 1, 2025, as authorized Section 3206 of the American Relief Act, 2025. Due to the extension of the work GPCI floors the CY 2025 GAFs are unchanged from the CY 2024 GAFS. Therefore, the GAF standardization factors, which are calculated to ensure that GAF updates are implemented in a budget neutral manner, have also been revised to 1.0000. The HIT Payment rates have also been updated to reflect the revised GAF standardization factor.

On March 9, 2024, Section 303 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 extended the work GPCI floor through December 31, 2024. The GAF standardization factors, and the national HIT payment rates are unchanged.

The CY 2024 GAFs have been revised to reflect the extension of the work GPCI floor through January 19, 2024, as authorized by Section 501 of the Further Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act, 2024. The GAF standardization factors, which are calculated to ensure that GAF updates are implemented in a budget neutral manner, have also been revised to 1.0026. The CY 2024 national and geographically adjusted HIT payment rates were updated to reflect the changes to the GAF standardization factor.

The Geographic Adjustment Factors (GAFs) for the Puerto Rico (PR) and the Virgin Islands (VI) payment localities have been revised. The HIT payment rates have also been revised to reflect the GAF changes in these localities. These GAF and payment rate changes are retroactive to January 1, 2023.
