Clarifies and corrects the existing instructions, incorporates additional statutory and regulatory changes, and adds a checkbox that allows a provider to elect and sign the Certification and Settlement Summary page of the Medicare cost report using an electronic signature pursuant to 42 CFR 413.24(f)(4)(iv).
