CMS announces it will install a system release of the HETS 270/271 system on Saturday, February 14, 2009 that will improve the HETS UI Internet Eligibility system. This release includes important changes in the HETS UI eligibility response. Please review the online release documentation and prepare as necessary. The online release documentation can be in the Downloads section below.
The installation will begin at 7:00AM ET on Saturday, February 14, 2009. The HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will be unavailable during this system release. Attempts to open an internet session to the HETS UI Internet Eligibility system will result in errors. CMS estimates that installation and testing will be complete by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Saturday, February 14, 2009.
In addition to the new version installation on Saturday morning, CMS will also be performing maintenance on the HETS UI Internet Eligibility application beginning at 7:00 PM ET on Saturday, February 14, 2009. The HETS UI Internet Eligibility application will be unavailable during this maintenance window. Attempts to use the HETS UI Internet Eligibility application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance will be complete by 9:00 PM EDT on Saturday, February 14, 2009.
